BVM (USN) HOSTS LSSC QUIZ CONTEST-2018
‘Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure and persistence’. It’s a proud moment for BVM(USN) as the Bhartiyans are celebrating their Golden Jubilee this year. Marking the progression of 50 glorious years of journey that started in the year 1968 under the pious leadership of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Trust, the plethora of activities to mark it, the school hosted LSSC Quiz Contest-2018. Twenty eight teams from various schools of Ludhiana participated in the mind-game to expand their knowledge and hone their skills. The event commenced with the lightening of ceremonial lamp by Shri P.C.Goyal Ji (Secretary),Shri M.M.Bamba Ji (Treasurer), and  K.C. Maini Ji (Member BVM Trust). The quiz began with the preliminary round of written test and six top scoring teams headed for the final competition that began with the introduction of the qualified contestants from each team. The rules of the quiz were announced and the quiz was conducted in a very interactive way. The participation of all teams was prompt & zealous. Eight rounds of the quiz were very skillfully packed with a variety of questions from history, science, sports, literature etc.
Team ‘B’ DAV Public School, B.R.S. Nagar, Ludhiana took away the top honours .
Team ‘D’ BCM Arya Model Sr.Sec. School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana settled for 2nd rank.
Team ‘C’ BVM Sr.Sec.School, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana  settled  3rd rank.  
Congratulating the winners, Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi said, “Such competitions are highly informative and knowledge enriching for participants along with the audience”. She felicitated all the prize winners with medals & certificates. As the Independence Day is just round the corner, questions of one round were framed based on patriotism that aroused the sprit of Nationalism amongst the audience. The whole ambience echoed with the patriotic sentiments. The event concluded with Vande Matram.
